For years, people have told me, “You need to start a blog.” Clients, friends, even other contractors have said it.

And every time, I nodded, agreed, and then went right back to the jobsite — because when you’re running a construction company, the work doesn’t slow down just because you want to sit down and write something.

This week was a perfect example.

I installed pergolas. I handled water remediation calls. I managed bathroom remodels. I squeezed in late‑night estimating. And somewhere between all of that, I tried to expand my understanding of SEO so my company can keep growing.

So yes — I’ve been busy. But I’m finally here, writing the blog post I’ve been “meaning to get to” for years.

And honestly? It feels good.
